Does anyone know what type of seed is used to grow giant potato's ???? And if so were to get them ???? I am a potato grower now and do well with many different types but want to try to grow some monster potato's !!!!

Good Luck....It is next to impossible to get one. It is one thing to ship a seed...a tuber or live plant is another.

Yeah. I don't know if you can get Kondor over here. I have never seen it. 'Shepody' has grown some really big ones for me.

Another one to try that may be easier to get is Kennebec. They really can grow some monsters. We grow them here on our farm and if you cant get a hold of some let me know and I may be able to hook you up. We have been selling more and more Kennebecs for seed every year into Minnesota and the Dakotas so you should be able to find some in the east.

Kennebecs I believe originated in Maine, it shouldn't be hard to find Kennebecs in Vermont. They're easy to get in PA.
