Hi everyone, as of right now, 352 582 seeds have been dispursed around the world to various growers and organizations. All have been given their ID right on the seed like I do with all my seeds to avoid any chance of bogus seeds. Those who have current trades with me in the works, I will stick to them. New trades have been frozen for the time being as there may be a few growers who I can finally adequately pay back for their generosity from when I was first getting started in this great sport. I will keep everyone posted.
Other Hester seeds just send me and email and for the 582, email me as well, but I may just have to tell you to hang on for a few weeks.
My email address is: pumpkinguru@giantsofthegarden.com

Brett,

Thanks for being so generous with your seeds. There are many others whom would never handle things so gratiously!

You got that right...Very, very nice of you and unheard of. What an example (and no, I won't be asking for one :0)

Brett,
Thanks for not slaming the door shut on the 582 seeds. I know a lot of us tried this yr. But just had no luck getting them to germ. Hoping to give it another try next yr.

Thanks for your giving spirit!

I think I'm with southern. I won't ask for any seeds. I'm sure you'll be busy enough as it is!

I like this thread, isn't often that a newby like me can log onto the chat room and chat with a grower of Brett's caliber, but he has made that possible, and it is appreciated.

By the way, since Southern and Smitty don't want any of your seeds Brett, do you think that I can have the....just joking!!!!

I can only second that, Owen.
Brett is certainly one of the friendliest and most generous growers out there!
The chat is another good example of this!
Keep it this way, Brett!
Best wishes,
Martin

as a first year grower last year i asked brett for seeds and i was amazed at all the different ones he sent me..same with bruce whittier..as well as many others..while at the topsfield fair looking at those beautiful pumpkins the 1187.4 whittier caught my eye..grown from the 582 hester..the 1187.4 is a nice growing plant with huge leaves even with the horrible weather on the coast..fog bound and rain for three weeks during critical growing period..i managed to get a pollination..1187.4 x 838 bobier and have a most beautiful 700 pounder on the vine..any way my point is the 1187.4 has potential..check your seed boxs as if you hav'nt already...

The year crossed I have ecrit to Brett to exchange seeds with it sent back to me package of seeds and nevertheless there are time kilometres, who separates us and all the kindness was in the seeds that he had offered me.
It is a good man.
