I hate to be a copy cat, but I always vowed when I grew a fruit of decent size I would offer a competition exactly as Scott Steil did this year. This offer will appeal to anyone interested and all I ask is that it be weighed at a GPC weighoff.
125.00 Dollars will be awarded to the grower with the largest pumpkin weighed with my seed at a GPC sanctioned weigh-off.The results must be posted through the GPC link at bigpumpkins.com and the check will be mailed November 1st, 2014.
The seed being used for this competition is the 904 Hertzfeld (1579 Revier x 1168 Young)which placed 10th at Harnica Farms
