I tried a two weeks before the 783 threw the 1385, to trade for a 783...i had only one inquiry...that person has decided to stay put now. GOing to be very tough to find.

Ceis....i do have a new personal best. 830 lbs! off of the 846 calai. Was 94 lbs heavy. Will post pics when i get them on the computer.

Congrats Casey on your new PB! Did you grow a 783 this year? I did a search on the 783 and saw you on this subject in Aug / Sept.

I germinated a 783 and gave it to a friend to grow. He got a 619 lber and a side vine 502 est fruit (783 x the 846 calai i grew) that was taken down by mice ....he had two other smaller fruit on that plant as well, both open pollinated. The 619 was open pollinated as well. The plant next to the 783 was the 946 mettler..so not many choices of what pollinated it...would gather it was mostly self but who knows.
