OK now that the weigh offs are done. There are alot of growers out there that would also like to grow some of these other giants. (Just a slice of canteloupe would have gotten you second place in Nekoosa)
So here the deal I mentioned earlier this year about being the host of a giant veggies seed exchange. I am more than happy to do this.
Here is what you need to do, send your seeds marked and labeled in bulk if you wish to me along with what you would like back to grow. I will set Thanksgiving as the cut off date to receive request. Only those that participate in the exchange will be able to get seeds, then any other left overs will be posted and given out.
I have all the bubble packs for the return exchange, please include some postage.

Shannon I also am doing the seed bank for people looking for seed, alot was given away at the weigh-offs so it will be about a week before the list is updated.

Ernie, this is a Veggie exchange. I will have some short Long Gourd seeds from my 54"er if anyone would want those. I am looking for some Giant Corn, very large head sunflower seeds, and some Long (around 90"s) LG seeds. What is the best seed to grow for a large field (hard stem) pumpkin?

I got seeds from a 10' sunflower with 24" head..and giant carrot, onion, radish, marrow etc etc etc.

Christmas we will have like a not so secret santa...lol they are not going to get planted until next year anyhow :)

i dont know if they are hard stem or not.
"prizewinner" pumpkins around here that are big and "strong".
i was told they are a mix with AGs.
