The 898 is a great seed. If you can remember a few years ago a 22% 1100 lber was grown. THe walls were six teen inches thick in spots. April if you get your hands on this hot seed you better have a chain saw for post season disposal. Also willing to trade for seed drop me a note if any interest

If you can't get your hands on the 898 you may want to try the Swarts seed that is the same cross. I think it's the 516 or something like that (it's not listed on AGGC). He is a member here. I think his handle is TSwarts.

Did I read that right that Steve Daletas grew his world record on his own seed and he crossed it with the 898 Knauss? Did he grow anything big on the 898 this year?
