Are you talking about Carolina Reaper pepper seeds. The really hot ones tend to have a poor germination rate but still you can generally get around 50 percent.

Even with a heating mat they can take 3 - 4 weeks sometimes

Sorry the seeds I sent didn't do too well. Yes carolina reaper seeds will take up to a month or longer to germ. How are you germinating them?

They didn't come up at all over a month planted and no sign of growth at all my friend said you need the pepper to fully ripen on the plant and let it dry out and open the dried pepper before planting....

I put them in the trays like they sell in the store i placed them under my plexi glass hot house on a shelf

Well these were dried and properly stored so I know it isn't the seed. Besides I got them from a very reputable vendor. Better luck next time! :)
