I grow the moruga scorpions in a big pot and take them in over the winter. I only recently found out pepper plants are perennials.

They are perennials. Its hit and miss in my garden over the value of retaining them. I've have a few plants in their 4-5th season that still produce very well. Others, year two was one year too many.

just a question about the peppers being perennials. If they are in the ground, do you dig them up, put them in pots and then winter them? At what temperature do you winter them.
