I would like to thank everyone for answering my questions all season. I grew my PB this year 747.2#'s and was wondering if anyone would like some seeds out of it.

747.2 Hunt--Gibson 907.5 x Eaton 947.5.

If you would like some seeds, EMAIL ME and I will be happy to send a few as well as a couple of watermellon seeds from our 120#'er. Thanks again to everyone.

How did you grow a 120# melon in Canada?

Well, to get it hot enough we plant the melons inside our igloos where we have huge beaver blubber fires where we cook our moose meat.A cold beer poured over the plant and a good ol' hockey game playin on the tv really stimulates growth eh! lol

You guys may think I'm joking but I'm not. They like lots of VERY hot weather I thought?

I'm just kiddin' ya.Phil lives in south central Ontario where our weather gets very warm during the summer months. A late season cold frame also helps. Aside from that, Phil and his wife are very good growers.

Ben a better question would be what latitude is he at. A lot of the canadian growers are south of the 45 degree lat line.

We use a clear tarp to keep them warm at night and start them early in the house. Plus lots of good luck. PB watermellon 126#'s.

A lot of Canadian growers south of the 45 degree lat line? I guess only those in extreme southern Ontario, correct?
