Hey folks,
Just completed my first year and took a 2nd at our little fair here. No weight to speak of (170) but I have the bug now.
I am looking for seeds to buy from any orange pumpkin over 1,000 lbs. Any help genuinely appreciated.
Thanks, friends!

If you're up for a road trip Saturday, head up to Doylestown, some of the prettiest pumpkins you'll see there, plus the chance to chat with a bunch of growers:

We usually have some seeds on us, too.

Andy's right it will prob be about 2 hrs driving for you. The first year I started growing I lived in Mt. Airy, only about 20 min from your location. Was the fair you went to the Great Fredrick Fair?
A lot of the orange pumpkins show up at Doylestown because we offer big prizes for the prettiest pumpkin in addition to the heaviest ones.
