In Germany we have an old wisdom: Dont say thank´s for seed or plant, if you said so, the plant may not develop well.

Darn it Hans-Werner...
Is that why I could only grow a 595lb pumpkin this year?LOL
I thought it was the terrible soil in my patch and frost on September 2nd and 3rd and terribly hot and dry year...

From now on I won't say thanks but I think this is a funny old german wisdom.

It took me about three days to get the giant sunflower hedge cut and tilled under so I'm swithching to 2 meter green wind fences.

You're on your own now pal for the giant sunflowers and tall corn...he he!
