I'd like to thank all who have sent me their 2003 seeds,Ben,David,Kyle,Alan,Just to mention a few.Due to poor fruit production in my 03 season i decided to toss all seeds from my 723.2.My 845 Bobair didnt do so well 75 day old fruit looked to weigh somewhere around 400lb extremly slow grower although the plant was as healthy as any i have grown in the past,My 898 never gained more then 18 or 19lb a day and stopped growing around day 70,the fruit didnt really look like most of the other offspring i'd seen over the summer although the main vine and stump did have simular colors, for these reasons i decided why send them out, theres plenty of good seeds out there to choose from and my 723 wasnt one of them,LOL anyways next spring its the 582x783 both ways and i will honer all bubbles i have put aside with this cross.Hope you understand.Best wishs.John

I'm always curious about small pumpkins that produce big ones or were involved in crosses. Were these small pumpkins competitively grown or what? One that comes to mind is the under 400 on the 876 lloyd that pollinated the 846 calai.

Some 846 seed grow a 1200, some only 600, next year my 846 seed will grow a 1500, much interesting. If a 846 seed would ever grow a 846 pumpkin, our growing would be a bore.
