I am looking for better genetic seeds than the unknown AG seeds i am growing this year. I have good shape and color but would like something with a little better history. Any help would be great.
Polka Dot- So far this year PB is 135#. Still have 2 growing.

there are lots of good seeds out there. for the most part all you have to do is ask. start networking- join a growers association- it doesn't even have to be one near where you live. go to weigh offs and meet people there, ask them if if you can have some of their seeds. get their email address and tell them you'll email them in a few days. or get their address and send them a self addressed stamped bubble pack - ask them when to send it. it usually takes a month or two for people to get their seeds, out, washed and dried out etc.
if you still can't find any good ones by Dec email me and i'll see what i can do.

Dotty!
There are seeds with excellent genetics offered here on this site for free!(late Fall) They are ALL GOOD! It's what you do in soil enrichment, fertilizers, soil testing, insect control, watering, and stress management, that are also contributing factors. If we could all grow a 1000#er +, the first year, where would the challenge be? It's an uphill struggle, and disappointing at times, but you can do it!
