Just a reminder to be nice with the bubble packs guys! I don't care what the postal people tell you, but 37 cents is not going to get your bubble pack with seeds in it mailed back to you. 49 cents is the minimum. It's usually not the weight that's an issue, but the bulkiness of the package cannot go through the normal machines because it's too thick, and that's what costs extra. It's a pain to have to pay the extra postage for people. I've only had to do it twice, so I can't imagine what the people who get lots of requests have to go through. They probably get sent to the bottom of the pile if there's not a bubble pack with proper postage and a nice note besides. I think if you're getting free seeds, when people pay 500 bucks for them at auctions, the least you can do is write a short note and pay the postage. OK enough rambling. Merry Christmas everyone, and may all your stockings and bubble packs be full of surprises!

From the United States Postal Service, a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to each and every one of you! Brigette is correct in her monetary values on a bubble. 49 cents will get it there, with onle a few seeds and a note, sometimes with bulkier package, the 60 cent rate is much more accurate and safer to assume complete destinations being reached without any problems. If you dont have any of the smaller denomonations of stamps, just use two stamps, and help out a starving family! lol... We down here at the USPS love people who pay the extra postage!!!
Seriously, God Bless the USA and I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Rock. I always put 2 stamps on my bbl packs. I know I'm paying more then necessary, but it isn't that much and I know it will get there.

as long as we're on the subject of packs, are they phasing out the #000 (the smallest ones) bubble pack mailers? staples, wal mart, and k mart no longer carry them. just curious, as i like them best.

CVS had them the other day when I was in there. Though Office Max is where I bought mine this year.
$.60 stamps seem to get even an overstuffed bubble anywhere without fail. Self adhesive too.

I got some at the super wal mart. The local "regular" wal mart didn't have them.

I posted some info last year about ordering 6 X 9 in. bubble envolopes by getting 1000 bulk in a case. I split them up with 3 or 4 other growers in New Hampshere. I think the cost was around 12 cents each. I did the search on Google looking for bubble envolopes.
