I went to Don Langevin's web site and noticed that he sells seed packets for $5.99. Does anybody know if these are good seeds by your standards? I would like to plant some "AG" pumpkins next year for the first time and would like good seed to use. Preferably something with good shape and orange color. Thanks everyone.

Greenhorn,
I'm growing seed from the Langevin collection this year, a Dill 600+ seed. It has done well in the heat (you'll need that), see my diary pictures. He also supplies family tree information.

The 600 Desrosiers that I grew this year are heat tolerant, and have good color, but shape is a little to be desired. You can see pictures of mine in my growers diary. Decide for yourself. --Bruiser

This site will have all the seeds you could possibly want in time for next year. I'm looking forward to growing a Desrosiers 600 or a descendent of one.

I will be putting more of my 600 Desrosiers in the seed distribution this fall/winter. I have to see how many I have left but I'm sure there are at least 30 to 40 remaining. Keep an eye on the seeds page this fall.

Is there something special about the 600 Desrosiers? I got a couple from this seed list this year and plan on growing one of them next spring

There will be many seeds donated over the winter from growers on this site and a lot of the seeds will have good genetics.....you can't loose with any of them.
