I got mine today. Wow! I was expecting there to be less seeds this year since we only had about 30 participants. I was definitely wrong about that one. Everyone who participated must have been very generous and done multiple seed packets. Thank you Kreig and Linda for keeping it going this year and thanks to all the growers who donated there seeds.

We mailed half of the boxes on Saturday, 1/12 and the rest were mailed today. I also mailed the two from Canada today. It cost 16.00 to mail from TN to Canada! That's crazy!!

Glad to see this is still happening. This will be the 16th year it has occurred. It started as a way to get other Giant Veggie Growers to share seeds of things like Bushel Gourds, onions, carrots and cabbage. When I ran it no Atlantic Giant Species could be included

Mine arrived yesterday! Amazing selection. One ? One package labled Mexican tall corn has 2 distinctly different variety of corn. Large white and small black. Are both tall corn? Variety type? Thanks Kreig and Linda for all your work! Peace, Wayne

Question for the marrow seeds. Are they pure ? I ask this as two years running they turned out to be something other than marrow. 1st year it was a pumpkin-2nd year warty pumpkin.

Another treasure trove! Thanks all. Green corn looks cool...
Hope the ones I sent grow well for you. Some info about what I sent:
Strawberry tomatoes are quality cherry variety. No gimmick they are strawberry shaped and taste great. F1 original seed from Territorial.
The Ms. Warty seed is an attempt to get a warty AG. Lots of 1421.5 Stelts in it.
795.5 "Peggy" was actually a side pumpkin on the same plant as "Peggy" crossed with 504 House, which was smooth and very orange, so it could be a fun one to grow.
I achieved perfect control on the AGs and field kin (71.5) I sent but the 5.04 and 5.01 tomatoes were open pollinated, it's more likely the 5.01 was selfed, bees may have helped with the 5.04. Thanks again, everyone.

First thank you all for the seeds. The marrow seeds are true.I got the seed start from Brad Wursten. 206.5 self 70 wursten (206.5 self) 84west (70 wursten self). I have had the same problem looking for a good cross. they grow just like Brad says. Good to have more growing them.I grew three on the plant to stop splitting. Grown big.

Another question on the marrow seeds, mine seem soft and the seed coat is bubbled away from the inside. They collapse when given a slight squeeze but pop back out on their own. Is this normal for marrow? Just don't seem solid like I'm used to from other seeds.

Planting seeds right now. I recall someone saying that they had send seeds from a white bushel gourd. I could not see seeds labeled that way. Anyone have information on a white bushel gourd?

This fall after you harvest your seeds we all send them in and who ever is running it this year will package up all the seeds sent in and mail them back out. You send some money to cover shipping. Full details will come after weigh offs I’m sure.
