Growers... we have the ok from ken to sell aka ask for a donation... for the remaining seven (7) packs... Do we want to do this? I have heard one voice in support and none against. If you have a better idea please email me this weekend/ this coming week. I am assuming the Canadian packs will reach their destination, cross fingers that the UK will also.

I figure that our priorities should be... 1) Make these seeds avail. at a cost that some new growers can afford 2) Kick some money back to Ken 3) Cover our return shipping costs which can help keep the exchange economically viable and can lighten the burden of the international postage. Getting international participation helps us to get interesting seeds.
Let me know what you think. Let me know if I am omitting any good ideas, Brandon

Can we bid on them. I did not have seeds to contribute, so I did not feel right about getting into it. If we can bid, I think you should take some out of proceeds to cover your expense Brandon. For some reason, I think you are in the negatives.

Yep ran into the red. Not in too deep... Just under a hundred bucks. Yeah you should definitely get these seeds! But I gotta treat the extra packs like they belong to the seed exchange... I cant really speak yet as to what we are gonna do with them my ideas are probably not the best... waiting to hear better ideas.

Auction them off. You shouldn't have to use your own money to cover the expenses of this.

It is up to you. We used to take the # of extra divided by the amount we were in the red. Then basically have a raffle and choose the number winners for the left over packs.

That is an interesting idea Shannon. I was thinking about it...how do you auction off 7 equal lots?

WeLLL... Im really ok with whatever, but if you are talking about recouping shipping, which I’m fine with of course, but I know we weren’t alone sending extra for shipping to try to help out...if you get my extra back I would like you to donate it to the gpc, or maybe just auction the remaining packs and donate to the gpc...(you get a cool sticker too!!)...whatever works...thanks again

Yeah... No kidding. Either first come first serve, or raffle. Or somewhere in between? Be warned I might pull a Crazy Clayton on ya. Get ready to pay attention and learn (what not to do?!) from the Master of Mistakes & Guru of Goof-ups.

Raffle the extras off. Sell tickets, keep enough money so you break even then split the rest between Ken and the GPC.

You a new grower right? Let me check and see if the last few packs get where they are supposed to... if my count was off you are probably in luck.

Hi Glenoma,
Yes, This will be my second year. My first year I grew the 1632 Stelts and took a 467.5 pounder to the Elk Grove Ca Weigh off - very exciting. This year I got a soil test and will be amending my soil :)
