Just wondering, how many seeds are you actually planning to plant this year? (You are posting requests for so many seeds, unusually many with respect to others who are searching for seeds on BP. Also, I have the impression you are just looking for the weight of the fruit the seed came from rather than looking at the history and future of the seed stock. Best example is the 2328 Meier. Check out its progeny in the pumpkinfanatic database, surprising, isn´t it? There´s a good reason why hardly anybody grew seeds from this horribly impressive pumpkin.)

have you ever grown a pumpkin before karadza? If not, instead of aiming at acquiring the triple digit dollar seeds..maybe try to get a free seed with the same genetics. Many of those out there for the cost of a bubble envelope and postage.

If you grow a 1000lb pumpkin this year, I will send you a 2323 Meier seed after the weigh-offs

It sounds like you already seeds that can get you thru your first year. The growers that have been doing this for years will tell you that there is not a magic seed unless everything else is in place. Much more important is the rest of the growing environment. Have you budgeted for soil tests and amendments. Soil probably should be your first concern. Have you looked at how to use soil calculators to balance your nutrients? Then you need to plan for pests and disease. What products are you going to use and how are you going to apply (sprayer). Other things to think about: Are you going to start early enough to need cold frames. What is your irrigation system going to be...drip tape, overhead etc. The seeds you are looking for were grown in advanced environments. Unless you have that environment you will not duplicate the results.

Offsprong over 1500 pounds go as follows; the 2323,32 the 2328,7 the 1937(best you have asked for in my opinion)18 the 2261 13. These numbers are not so great. Percentage of offspring over 1500 pounds are as follows; the 2323 22%, the 2328 37%, the 1937 28% and the 2261 19%. None of these are that good.
