I have a seed marked what looks to be 798 P & P seed 1995. Does anyone have a guess as to what this one may be? When I checked I thought it possible to be the Zehr 793 where the 8 may be a 3. Does anyone know whether this seed was sold by P & P that year? Don

if so, i believe the 500 Hebb was grown from that seed and resulted later on in the 783 Daletas...keep researching that via the AGGC---also contact the people who have grown it. of course you would still need some other fancy seeds to re-create anything......

Don: I have the 1996 P&P catalog right here. One of the seeds for sale reads as follows:
923F x 914MP95 798*...(from Zehr's patch).....2 SEED @ $10.00
It seems that this must be a transposed "8" instead of "3". 793 Zehr(95) was 923 Brown(94) x 914 Weir(94).
Hope you can get it to germinate...
Frank
