My 1260 seed finally succumbed and is gone, the only loss out of 17 seed tries. Since my cross plans were to revolve around this seed I'd rather try to get one late than not at all....will trade *heavily* for one if anyone is willing to trade theirs. I have an extensive seed list and like I said, will trade heavily for another chance. E-mail me private please, hope someone is willing to help.

Very sorry to hear about it southern. I lost my entire first line (1458, 1097.5, 1023, 1016, 953, 899.5*, 783, 675*) 8 days ago due to an overheated heating pad. Very sorry again about the 1260. Hope you find one. Alex.

Yah southern, that sucks! Every one of my 13 seeds came up EXCEPT... my favorite...the 986 Checkon. I guess that's what they call Murphy's Law. :-) Good luck.

Sorry to here that Kyle, I know how much you wanted the Heavy crosses. If I had 1 I'd give it to you, but I don't. Good luck in your Quest.

Perhaps you can work a pollen exchange with someone. Who else if growing the 1260?

Well I can certainly feel for both of you, Alex and Kyle!
Last year I lost my 845 Bobier, all my Pukos seeds and a few others such as 876.5 Lloyd and one 869.5 Calai.
This year I got "lucky" with 13 plants up out of 14.
There are still now a million things that can still go wrong but germination is the first big stress. Now we're having cool wet weather which makes it difficult to get started in the patches here.
Hope your next batches do much better! Michel

sorry to hear that man. i lost my 805, tried for several days to keep it alive. My 529 Calai died the same day. it was a slow grower with a deformed first leaf and root ball. The 805 is one of my favorites and it was my last one, the one i grew last year had no fruit because of the weather so i was really looking forward to growing another one. You can send pollen through the mail overnight so you can still do some crossesif you find a pollen donor... Tom
