Last year there were seeds from several (4 I think) of the 1000 pounders on sale through P & P seeds. Those are gone now but I'm pretty sure they will probably have some more again this year. It will take a couple of months yet before they get their list ready.

The 1048 was a tall very round pumpkin , light orange. It was a very good looking pumpkin. Was grown last year so you will have to wait until this fall to see what kind of fruit it produces.......Paul

I love the cross, I have the Gervais's address, I'm going to see if I can get a 981, it was the pollinater of the 1048. They have a pic of the 1048 on the p and p site and the aggc site.

The 1048 Cox was parked right next to my pumpkin at Clarence last fall. It was heavily cantalouped and looked solid as a rock... Joe P.

so #1 and #2 were parked next to eachother? Cool, must have been neat walking around that part of the parking lot. Joe, how is your 1098 doing? Is the 723 going to repeat last year?
