Hello,

I stopped growing about 10 years ago, wanted to grow a big pumpkin now so that the grandkids could watch and see it grow. Tried last year, all my seeds are 10+ years old and I could not get anything to germinate. Would like to give it a go this year again, so if you are willing to part with 4 or 5 seeds (doesn't have to be champions, I don't need expensive seeds) that are somewhat good, shoot me an email. Join the St. Croix Growers Association and you will get some seeds. The annual meeting is April 13 at 10:30AM at Big Guys BBQ in Houlton, WI. World Record pumpkin grower Travis Gienger will be speaking. This is an opportunity for you to network with other growers in MN and WI.

The Slip-Not Hitch? YEAH!!! I dunno. I tie my shoes pretty well and can do a bread tie. Thankfully, a bottom rope strap to lift up to 940 or so is in my repertoire. I'm OK, lol---eg
