Have patience. It takes 4 to 6 weeks to dry seeds. Some will not harvest seed until a week before halloween when they carve the big pumpkins. Think about he middle of November, maybe sooner. I'm sure they will post a message when this years seeds are ready and when they would like donations.

We hope to start the 2001 seed distribution in mid-November. There will be seeds from several top growers and some very good genetics.

Ken, Where do I send donations? They are not the best seeds, but they are available if anyone wants them.

Hello All, this is my first year at BP. Without sounding greedy, and more than willing to pay, is it possible to get around 30 seeds from one pumpkin(say around 200-300lbser). I am organizing a Pumpkinfest for 2002 however, some of the contestants are concerned about genetics and want to all be on the same playing field. Again this is not about GREED. Its about making a TRUE competion....Let me know because Im concerned that some may think Im a himebag...

Eng6900 - I'd be willing to part with 30 seeds from my 552 pounder. It was grown on a plant with 4 pumpkins, with the smallest being 400 lbs., so I think you've got a pretty good chance of growing pumpkins over 300 lbs with it. Email me privately if you're interested. --Bruiser

I also have 30 seeds you can have, but the pumpkin it can from was not as heavy as Bruisers. Only about 230 lbs. You can email me also if you are interested. Bruiser's are probably better.

The first genetics pages will be up in conjunction with the Seed Distribution - starting in mid-November. We can not start sooner because many of the pumpkins have not been cut open yet. Then the seeds have to be properly dried and mailed to us. Finally, we have to package the seeds, label them and enter them into the inventory database. Please be patient, it isnt even winter yet!
