I am searching for seeds that produce ofcourse giant pumpkins, but i'am searching for plants wich are very agressively vining and have leaves wich are rather small.

i seem to recall the 582 Hester being a smaller-leaved
plant with, oddly, A HUGE PUMPKIN ATTACHED TO IT!
although i could of course be wrong. i am growing the 950.4
Boyton and have been impressed with its growth habit, (aggressive)but it does NOT have small leaves.
hope i have helped. eric

You are right, Eric!

My 582 Hester had the smallest leaves of all my plants this year..

Hi Iwan - I believe that the 717 Rockwell is the 895 Hester X self that you are thinking of.

I believe that Rock & another grower planted this seed and rec'd the same results. (no guarentee on color)

Check Rock's Diary - It is a beautiful bright red pumpkin. Those 900 Lyons genes sure are tricky.

Madman had some old Gancarz genetics with smaller leaves growing this year. Not too sure if they survived all the hail.

I grew the 588 Beachy 00 (700 Bobier 99 x 1061 Zehr 96) this year. It is a large plant with small leaves. The pumpkin is high, round and orange.

The 717 Rockwell was emerald green, froma selfed 895 Hester, yet through red orange fruits. They are beautiful, yet, get to about 225 pounds and stop. If interested in these seeds, I have about 2 dozen left.. or if you want seeds from my best one from this years plant, you can have all you want, I am sure there wont be arush onthem for genetic purposes, yet, they are gorgeous! Check mydiary for the Rockwell 717 fruit pics, PGPGA Rock is my diary name.

southern

Appalachian Mtns.

You want a 940 Mombert '98.
Fits your requests and could throw very large. It's a proven seed but attainable.
