Hello everyone, congratulations to all these lucky 2001 growers. I looked at the Topsfield results, and for our next year´s german competition it would be nice to have some seeds from there. MA climate appears similar to temperatures over here what should be considered as far as I´ve learned here. We do not intend world records, it´s the second try after our 2001 BigMax competition, and the children liked these strong red-orange colours through the year. So my idea was to try a combination of some pumpkins that looked splendid (in Topsfield the #72 408.4, #17 726.6 and #11 791.6, just to give an idea). So if anyone knows these growers or had something similar in the not-so-warm-and-dry areas of your country, I would be glad to have your address to send you these bubbled envelopes for seeds. So long, "happy carving" (it´s what we plan for the weekend)!

Hello: the #11 pumpkin was grown by Tom Cone and Hugh Wiberg Hugh is the director of the NewEngland pumpkin growers association so getting ahold of him is easy, just go to the home menu here at Giantpumpkins.com and click N.E.P.G.A. and there you have the address info, ad for the #17 was grown by Don Eisenhaur and the number 72 by Marie Jankord, it looks to me like the # 72 and #17 were shined up a bit, maybe Hugh can put you in contact with them?
