898 Knauss x 846 Calai.....whaddya know! It sounds great on paper and I don't think anyone made the same cross last year.

Michel,
Seteffen Heckelmann's pumpkin was off the 1180 Daletas. But it sure wasn't very big and in addition to that it was quite ugly and over 20% under the chart.
Good seed, huh?

Seems to me I finally beat Steffen too this year...LOL!
That's why I was asking although I'm sure that any seed can do great in the right hands and with better weather. Glad to hear you're alive after the weigh-off! Michel

977 Hester 03, opposite cross of the 1180 also grew a nice fruit that was a tad under charts as well.

Martin : as i toured Jack larues garden! among his maze of about 15 plants the 1180 was by far the most beutiful! and well, bigger than mine! rumor has it this is the one coming to our terminator contest oct 23rd... ill keep ya posted!
