The 1014 larue is a 746 LaRue 2001 X 869.5 Calai 2000 cross.

I grew the 1014.5 La Rue this year in a test plot of only 150 sq. ft., the seed was very small and I thought I would see just what it would do. Had a large main vine and at one stage was growing 5 inches a day in circumference,and ended up with stem split. Just proves size of the seed does not matter the genitics are in them. The weather here was cold only had 3 weeks of hot weather this year, ended up with a 502 lb est. pumpkin 1014.5 La Rue - 1107 Cramer , the pumpkin was orange.
