Any body got it. I grew a 729.5 pound pumkin off it my first year growing. It had great color. I'm also looking for pumkins with 800+ X 800+ Cross that weighed over 400+ and/or have a history of producing 700+ pumpkins. I'm also looking for a 846 jutras.

AJG seeds play a little part in the role of getting big. Its patch prep, and pumpkin discipline that make them big. Something I have not gotten under control yet. 729.5 for your 1st year is a heck of a start.

Are you interested in any of my crosses?
Seems to me that you are especially interested in orange pumpkins.... the seeds I offer will provide that!

801.5 Stelts 97 X self (224kg)
801.5 Stelts 97 X 1016 Daletas 01 (214kg)
783 Daletas 00 X 801.5 Stelts 97 (182kg)
582 Hester 01 X 801.5 Stelts 97 (151kg)
845 Bobier 00 X 801.5 Stelts 97 (141.5kg)
810 Dill 99 X 1016 Daletas 01 (122kg)
1016 Daletas 01 X 801.5 Stelts 97 (100kg)
810 Dill 99 X 801.5 Stelts 97 (small)

It should be mentioned to newer growers that seeds from smaller fruits theoretically have the same potential as seeds from the 1000/+lbs pumpkins. The only thing that counts is the cross!

Pictures of all pumpkins can be found in my diary entries from the last two to three weeks on Bigpumpkins.com.
All were an awesome orange color and should even improve with the crosses I made. The only one that was not as deeply orange was the fruit on the 1016 Daletas as the vine rotted off and the pumpkin wasn't able to mature and orange up.

Best wishes,
Martin

hey you

Greencastle, PA

My 298 and 119 are crosses of the 963 Stucker and 1061 Ciliberto. The 963 has grown a 1082 and the 1061.5 has grown a 1213. They're small, but the 298 was the biggest in the state. I think the crosses have some potential... the genes are just about all 935 Lloyd and 801.5 Stelts, two of the best genetic strains out there, which have produced several 1000+lbers... the 1446 was grown off a seed using 935 and 801.5 genes. E-mail me if you'd like some seeds.

Out of the seeds I offered you I'd say that the 845 X 801.5 and 783 X 801.5 should have the most potential to go heavy otc. These two were 19% and 15% over the chart.
Actually all my fruits, except the 801.5 X self and 810 X 1016 were over the chart but that could have been due to our weather this year.
All crosses should produce beautiful offsprings, the best ones should be the 801.5 X self and the 845 X 801.5 but all others are good as well for orange and pretty.
