I did a few experimental crosses this year with some Hubbard's and Giant Banana Squash. If anyone is interested in growing some just send me an email and I'll hook you up.

Weight = 58 lbs. (Giant Blue Hubbard x 895.5 Hester*)...It really was a light gray blue!

Weight = Aprox. 40 lbs. (Jumbo Pink Banana Squash x 1048.6 Companion)

Weight = Aprox. 12 lbs. (Green Hubbard x 895.5 Hester*)

Weight = Aprox. 10 lbs. (Improved Green Hubbard x 895.5 Hester*)...This Hubbard was so green it was nearly black!

Weight = 9 lbs. (Green Hubbard x 895.5 Hester*)

Hay Adam,

A friend of mine in Airway Heights has been crossing Hubbards X AG for years never a squash cross* though. I would love to try one of your: Giant Blue Hubbards X 895*, and one of your improved green hubbard X 895 Hesters! Was the Improved Green Hubbards skin "Bumpy"?

All the hubbards were as sooth as galss. A big bonus! The Giant Blue one though had some lumpy bump things to it, but I wouldn't consider them like warts. Kind of like looking at the Poluse fields from outer space...lol.

i have seeds that my brother grew back 2 years ago. He got 157 lbs hubbard sqash i dont know the genetics of it It was green with white lines down it
