As most of you have probably read the post by Southern. A seed trade for an 810 Dill went bad. I have taken reponsibility for the bad trade, why, well I would want the same in return if I was on the receiving end. I too have not been the best at record keeping, but I have kept enough to know the seed (810) I sent to Southern did not come from an Auction. I received it from another grower, who in turn received it from another grower. I don't think the origin of the fake could honestly be found.
Will I trade a second hand or third hand seed again? Not ever unless I was totally up front and explained how I came to own it.

During the time in which the fake was traded, I made another trade with David Garrell, and yes I did send him a seed that was not what it was supposed to be. I made the mistake myself, I mixed up 2 seeds, David was very Professional and I appreciate that.
I have felt bad about that trade and then it was compounded by the "Southern Affair"

I do send out a resounding "I am truly sorry" to all affected. I do learn from my mistakes.
I should have never mentioned I received the 810 from an Auction until I was Absolutely sure. My intent was not meant to give Auctions a bad name, but it sure could have been taken that way. Auction are good for the Sport and I support them as much as I can.
If I have lost anybody's trust, I can understand.
And I must thank the great people of BP who have sent emails to me in support.
In closing to all new seed traders, Be Carefull, Be Honest and Keep records. Trust is a hard thing to regain after you loose it!!!!

It takes a big man to admit a mistake and say a simple "I'm sorry". I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't know you personally Eddie, But based on this post, and a few others of yours, I wouldn't have any problem trusting you. I can tell you are a very well meaning person.

i've swapped seeds with eddy before and like everyone else he has done the right thing by me if he swapped a seed that was a fake i'm sure it was purely by accident or unknown by him and i'm sure he's working on setting the deal strait
