I got some 744 seeds from someone but we burned the empty bubble pack afterwards and I don't remember who they came from. It must be from someone I'm trading with or swapping and I want to be able to label them or they'll probably never get planted.
Thanks for any help!
The 744 is not listed at the aggc.

There is not one but 7 pumpkins that weigh 744# listed on the AGGC. 2 or from this year Swarts 744, and Barenie 744, the others are from previous years. Couldn't tell from your post whether it was this years seed or another years. Other options include. Yandow 1999, LaRue 2002, Holland, 2003, Vezzelo 2003, Welty 2000. I leave the seeds in the pack and leave the pack sealed until I am ready to use the seed.

Thanks Brian but it's not one of the ones listed at the aggc and it's a 2004 seed. I got quite a few bubble packs already this year and should have left them in there like you said...(the seeds were floating around loose in the bubble)
I'll eventually find out since it can only be one of about 75 growers that I swap with.

I always store my seeds as they were sent to me - in the original bubble with all the information from the sender. It´s like reading letters from former girlfriends after a while...LOL
If not properly registered before one throws away the package (or reuse it) you easily go into trouble like that. I do it only in case the seeds inside had been planted and the bubble is empty -:)

Ingo,
If I do that then I need to empty a room in the house just for seeds. I prefer to keep them in two styrofoam containers that take up just about the amount of space of two cases of beer...LOL!
....and if I start reading letters from old girlfriends I'll be in big big big trouble!!!!!
I love Isabel.

I didnt send any seeds to Germany this year. Unless I missed the address? Mine would have been in a smaller envelope also??

I don't also think that the seeds were from Steve so I'm still trying to figure it out.
I'll just ask all of the folks that I'm sending seeds to if they sent me the 744's and when I find out I'll post it here.
Thanks again!

Steve,
We swapped last year but not this year yet. I don't think I have enough seeds to make any more swaps. I only harvested about 130 seeds or so from my 790 Daletas x 419 Pukos and would like to keep the last dozen or so for myself and many of them are cracked anyway.
Best regards!
