I have a total of (15) 845 Nesbit seeds to give to those who wrote and requested them, thanks to many donations from other growers and mr Nesbit himself. Alan provided his last remaining 5 to you guys so I hope you can honor his donation by growing them like you stated. To those lucky 15 (Anyone who took the time to write more than 3 sentences) I have emailed you this afternoon. You do not need to send a bubble, I have asked for your snail mail address so that I can mail them, my X mas gift to you. Good luck with them and I wish you the best in 2005.

I think Mike was going to establish new and excellent ideas here on BP.com, and furthermore he´s not only talking about it, he´s doing it. Besides - as a "heavy hitter":-) - he´s not going to forget about "the base".
My hat is off to him, great job!

Mike, thanks for your generosity. Rest assured, I will grow the 845 and take the utmost care of it. I will also help other new growers just as I've been helped. I've only been on BP.com for a few short weeks now and have made several new friends. Thanks again.

Outstanding gesture, Mike. Damn cool. I've been sunning myself in Cabo for 2 weeks, so I haven't a clue what's going on, but giving away 15 845's sounds awesome to me!!

From a few pictures I've seen, of fruit grown from the 845 Nesbit seed, it can produce fruits that are quite orange.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. The generosity of fellow pumpkin growers continues to flow in and I may have a seed for EVERYONE who wrote me, even the non essay writers....ROFLOL! I will keep you posted as donations come in. Wow, this has turned out to be really cool. The end result may be 20 plus 845 Nesbitt seeds hitting the dirt this spring that may have NEVER been planted. Thanks to all who donated!!!!!! Mike Frantz
