I saw some of these at the MN state fair. The Info Person near them wasn't very helpful so I'm wondering where to get some tubers and if there's info somewhere about how to grow them?

TRY AGAIN!!! I found this site with quite a few links. Some of the links show how to grow while others sell them. I did not go through many links but those that I did all worked. Good luck finding what you want. http://www.dahliatubers.com/Dahlia%20Tubers.htm

Brigitte, These folks always have a huge display at the Puyallup Fair. There is tremendous variety among dahlias and the prices these folks have seem reasonable. New varieties tend to cost more than older established ones. Price and size seem to have no relation. The website also has growing tips. They are very easy to grow and if you dig and divide the tubers they are easy to propogate. Proper storage in the winter is important though. I hope this helps. http://www.connells-dahlias.com/
