I bought my first strawberry plant in a pot this year. Every strawberry grown so far has been poked, bitten, or half eaten. I just wondered what would be a good idea to control them. Maybe make a little frame with a net over it to set on top of the plant?? I have it on a corner edge now of the stairway, and put mothballs around the local perimeter of the pot as well as that capascin (sp?) hot pepper spray stuff.

I have found the perfect thing. I have a pet cage I used for my hedgehogs in the barn, dug it out, put it together, and put the pot in there, and nothing has bothered them since.
