We use nothing...normaly nature will provide the cure for these. We just had a huge hatch of lady bug larvae. I like seeing these guys out eating. On the corn sometimes mineral oil on the silk if the worms are bad.

I use nothing as well, my soil has been worked on for a couple of years now

I use a fungicide from Gardens alive for my tomato, since blight is prevalent here. As for peppers, nothing and corn, well I just pick off the worms when we pick the corn. But next year I plan on buying some beneficial nematodes for the garden. We are over run with June/May Beetles, they are like flying tanks...You could try repellant sprays, like onion, garlic and such...Good luck.
