Is there anyone that lives close to northeast Penna that would like some ripe habeneros? We have plenty. Actually we have too many and we would not like to see them thrown away. Anyone that would like to have the habaneros can have them for free.

Man I have a huge pepper garden this year. I grew some caribiean Habenoros and they were definetly warm. I also have about 80 pods of Bhut Jolokia and Naga Jolokia they make Habeneros taste like bell peppers in comparision.

Is anybody growing the hottest pepper in the world, that one they just discovered a few years ago, hoter than a habanero, if so could I get the seeds out of one of those peppers, if it would'nt burn your hand off.

Fogsurfer I am growing the hottest pepper in the world its called a Bhut Jolokia. I also have one thats preety much the same its the Naga Jolokia. Ive been growing peppers for over 15 years now and contacted the Chile Institute of New Mexico and got some seeds. Theres nothing else like it Ive ever tasted. I grow over 30 different varieties of peppers and these by far are the most dangerous. I wear two pairs of latex gloves when handling these babies. Most plants only produce a couple pods but I was fortunate to have many develop this year. It is from India and makes a habenero seem like a tame pussycat even though the Habenero is still dang hot. There relly useless though because their such a hot pepper and caution must be used when handling even the pods.

Fisher Hughes, the habaneros are red in color. Does anyone want some? We have a lot and they ar too hot for us. If you live close enough, I would be willing to deliver them. or meet you half way or something. I would hate to see so many good peppers get thrown away.

I am willing to give them to anyone that lives close enough to come get them or I would even travel at least half way if you live a little farther.

Hey Wayne I plan on bringing some Bhut Jolokia pods to Kentucky if I have any left. Right now there green but they will still turn Red even if there picked early. I ate a green one the other day and it makes a habenero seem some what tame and actually has a good flavor.

I have never grown them, don't you just scrape the seed out of them and plant them, if so does anybody have some bhut jolokia seeds-my mother in law loves hot food.

Hey Fogsurfer I should have some once they turn red not that the color matters much their darn right hot green. Ill keep ya posted when I have some available. You would want to grow them like any other seed. You would wash them and get em good and dry and place in a envolope.
