Has anyone grown peanuts in anything other than the ground like a bucket,tire,etc,etc,etc i have a few seeds that need to get planted this year with no room in garden so any help or info would be greatful. Thanks Duane

Try like a Half wiskey barrel, I do tomatos in them they work great.I save my ground area for my pumpkins. Just about any kind of container will work. I use wiskey barrels because they don,t dry out to fast. In fact i am going to try some peanuts in 1 just for fun to see what i get. I just run a drip line to them on a timer. I have about 12 half barrels that i use for different vegies

Never grown peanuts in a bucket or container. How will you mound the soil around the plant once it get 12" high? The flowers need that mound to have the pegs reach dirt to make peanuts....

In a container you just stay a little lower in the pot and raise or mound soil around the plants as they grow. Shouldn,t be a problem. With a half barrel that would be easy. You can grow potatos in a barrel this way.
