I just looked thru the diary's and in Ailsae's diary from the UK has carrots 3 feet long, onions the size of a soccer ball, biggest I have ever seen.

Richard, carrots 3 ft long is like having a 200 lb pumpkin. The record is almost 17 feet long. I would imagine those carrots were entered for high quality and not size. Notice the even length and shape of all three. That 13 lb onion is awful big though. The record is just over 17 lbs, so 13lbs is excellent.

Yeah, he lives down the road, drinks a lot, and never grows anything legal.
Stinks too.
