Ok We have had a much warmer feb and March than normal. I am afraid that if I plant the seed potatoes the will germ much earlier than ussual and they will germ earlier and When we get our early may hard freeze they will get frozen.

I ussually plant st paddys day but ussually the ground is kind of cold, But this yr has been difficult from the start.

Any advice?

Plant them..the potatoes will know when to come up...A hard frost unlike most plants will nip the potatoes it will not kill them. Their source of energy is below ground.
