I started a bunch of apple trees and peach trees that 3 months ago and the trees grew like weeds for the first couple months, all 10 of them. But in the last 2 or 3 weeks all of them have stopped growing at about 20 inches tall, they all are healthy and look great but they are definitely at a stand still.

Could this be because the 1 gallon pots they are in that might cause them be root bound ?

Is there anything I can give them to get them kick started again? I only have a couple more weeks before I plant them outside but thought it was weird how healthy the leaves and roots look but yet they arnt growing anymore.

wow,,that's an ambious project Brooks. At my age I would never start from seed it would be "fruitless" ;-)

try one of the ecto mycor products and make sure you are feeding them something in those pots

you can check the roots by pulling a pot off.

I used the mycore when I first started the seeds, the roots are healthy and has exploded in the pots. Maybe a little nitrogen will pick them back up(fish and see weed). Looks like they are dwarf trees right now,,lol. I thought about prunning the tops off them to see if I get new growth .

Brooks I have noticed that woody plants tend to grow in spurts, The longer the growing season the more Spurts it will have before it decides it has to start hardening off for winter. That is why alot of nursery stock is grown in places like VA or MD. It takes fewer years for a tree to reach a certain size down there than up here.

Brooks, unless you are gonna keep them in larger pots for a few years before planting them, I'd get them in the ground.

I grew an apple tree from seed once with my daughter and we kept it in 1 gallon pot for a couple of years. It never got taller than a couple of feet but it still grew.

Wish I could help you more here bud, but my apple tree at home gets a major haircut every year and it looks like it will never come back...but they always do.

Could be something like they grew fast while burning through their seed reserves. After it ran out they are working a bit harder for a living and have slowed down.
