Finally took a video of the garden. So far almost every corn stalk has yet to tassle and there no flowers on any of the pure giant amaranth. As long as we don't get any crazy wind storms there is a lot of potential for somtehing really big this year.

This year was a disaster for my sunflowers. We had a lot of rain early on and many of them got sunflower downy mildew. The few that made it flowered prematurely. My tallest is around 12 ft. as well. Funny thing is that my corn is doing great this year. There almost isn't a single tassle in the garden. Hopefully, this trend will continue.

Haha! Usually they flower sometime between September to October. Do you have any pictures? I would love to see them. The world record for them now is 27 feet 10 inches.
