I started some seeds from a mucho nacho jalapeno. I recently found out that they are a hybrid variety which I didn't know when they were planted. The plants look great right now. Has anybody tried to grow a hybrid jalapeno, and if so what were the peppers like, small ??, hot ?? Will I even get any fruit ?? Lee

Saved seed from a hybrid will give unpredictable results. Peppers can cross pollinate as well creating even more un predictability in yeild and heat. You will definetly get peppers though. If you purchased hybrid mucho nacho jalapeno seeds from a reputable company they will give you what the package says.

I've grown Much Nacho from saved seed and they all grew true to the F1 description.
