What your favorite pea. I tried pea for the first time last year. The grand kids loved eating them raw. Don't remember what kind they where. (I plan on cooking some too) Any ideas

Darren, if you have Grand kids you need to try these http://www.medwynsofanglesey.co.uk/shop/vegetable-seed/peas/purple-podded-pea/prod_157.html There great to eat and the pods are purple. Really big hit with kids.

Little Sugar... mmmm
Plus peas are a nitrogen fixer so they will give the soil a boost where you grow them.

Super Sugar Snap. Once I start picking them I can't stop. They never make it to the dinner table.

Sugar snap. (for some reason the super sugar snaps never germinate well for me.)

I like shell peas right out of the garden. Two very good ones IMO are Lincoln and Green Arrow.
