Mine is just starting to brown. Have only clipped off 1 scape so far from 90 ft. of row. Probably won't dig it for a couple of weeks at least.

I had 2 different varieties going. I ended up picking both of them last week. Most of the stocks had gotten flattened by some bad winds, so they browned.
My Early Italian Red garlic is gigantic. 2 to 3 times larger than I grew last year. None of them developed scrapes, before being blown down.
The S&H variety, only had a couple develope scrapes.
I am growing on a very small scale.
Since a majority had browned due to the wind damage, I went ahead and dug all of the stocks and hung them.
I now have yellow beans planted on that area.

I picked mine last Sunday Pizza.
Sounds like you have soft neck garlic if its falling over. Get it out and let it dry for 2 weeks.

Got mine a week ago...have to find a new place for them. I open the door to the pantry and the smell hits you.

Just picked mine today, the garlic that was shaded was quite a bit smaller than the full sun stuff. Disappointed, but I am sure the flavour will be nice. Next years crop will be in a full sun location. I had leek moths and am going to plant radish where the garlic was to drive them away hopefully.
