I am looking for the most tender type of green bean to plant this year. I would like them to be the bush type also.
What do you all suggest ?

I really like the french filet types. 'Maxibel' is a good one.

Check with your State Extension Service they usually have conducted growing and taste testing on vegetables grown in your state. I believe here it is Blue Lake.

to be honest I have not grown a bad one, but some do crop real heavy, just gotta find em

Contender.

I have grown them for..um..well decades. They produce large yields for an extended period and very mildew resistent. On a 50-60 ft row expect 3 gallons on the 1st picking and every 3 days you will get 2.5-5 gallons each picking for 18 to 20 days after the first picking. If you miss a picking you will need to discard some and it will hurt your overall yield. Great canning green bean. I "schedule" some neighbors to keep up with the picking because I plant too many rows most of the time and the family starts disapearing after we have put up a couple of batches. lol
