I planted some Indian corn about a week ago and all the seeds sprouted and they are about 2-3 inches tall. They are all dark green and looking pretty good except for one plant. In the mix of green plants is one that is growing white. It isn't dead or dying, it continues to grow along with the rest of the plants. Does anyone know what exactly is causing this? I have never seen this before and just curious if it will continue to grow or eventually die off.

I got the same thing going on. It is the craziest looking thing. I got my seeds from Shannon's Giant Veggie Seed Exchange

Try googling albino corn plants. Albinism in plants does occur. These plants lack the chlorophyll which makes plants green. My guess is that the white corn plant will eventually slow down in growth and die. Without chlorophyll the plant can't make food.

The plant has ceased to exist anymore. It grew to about 5 inches tall and then died. It was pretty neat to watch it grow while it lasted.
