Last year I planted a couple lettuces and they grew great. The only problem was when I harvested them, they had pincher bugs in the layers. Is there something I can do to prevent this? We love fresh home grown lettuce, just do really like sharing with the bugs!

We always have this problem with our lettuce and artichokes. A little garlic spray will send most of them away. Other then that,,, I soak all lettuce and artichokes in a 5 gallon bucket of water and they all go bye bye. I could really careless but my wife hates seeing pincher bugs in her salad.
