Subject: Glass gem corn

Not that familiar with corn. Planted 50 seeds in 3 short rows. Tallest is at least 8' smallest about 5'. North side seems to be smallest but guessing sun blockage might have something to do with that. Just wondering how tall they get? Guessing for what I've got maturing at 8' would be about my limit. Cool weather climate here. Any Glass Gem Growers out there? T

Its moderately tall, 7-8 ft is normal in my experience.

The few I have are 7 feet full day sun . no cobs yet.

I was a little off on my guess of height. Tallest is over 10' with average being 8-9'. Unless my tape measure lied to me. Cobs are just starting to form.

We grew some last year. They got around 6-7 feet tall. It didn't pollinate very well. We now know it helps to hand pollinate it before the grasshopper eat all the silk.
