They are now posting % chance of precipitation to the nearest 1%. So for example 14 days from now there is a 58% chance of precipitation and 15 days from now there's a 61% chance of precipitation. Wow, they have have taken the accuracy of their inaccuracy to a new level.

So, if google was in charge of weather.com, I might think this new level of detail could have value. With IBM in charge... based on my careful calculations I give it a 19.09455 % chance this new level of detail will be useful. Fingers crossed. I guess its a step in the right direction...

Just found it humorous. Lets check the humor forcast while we are at it. Let's see...we are still looking at a 0% chance of precipitation in your pants... unless you are under 5 or over 50. Oh well I guess weather statistics just isnt that humorous.
