Its called the "news" for a reason.

Smoking has been fought for several decades now, and pretty successful. You cant smoke in restaurants, planes, public places etc. Less and less kids start smoking and overall the Tabaco industries have been banned from advertising and severely restricted in their ability to promote smoking.

Covid is brand new comparted to smoking, with he pandemic not starting until 2020. And because its new, its in the "news" that's how news works. Its reports on the most recent and relevant topics to inform you. It doesn't stop reporting on uncomfortable truths just because they are inconvenient to Gritty Kins

And just like smoking, people who fight covid have to fight the fake science, the covid deniers and nay sayers, who try to down play it and turn it into a common cold or compare it to smoking.

Fools are of all ages. There where people 4 to 5 decades ago, who denied the dangers of smoking, who claimed it was healthy, who claimed it didn't cause cancer because the cigarette' industry had gotten their own scientists to produce "data" that supported the harmless nature of cigarettes 'and the non-link to cancer I know, its seems completely nuts now.

And just like that, 20 years from now, it will seem completely nuts that there where people denying it and acting like it wasn't that bad, just because it didn't effect them personally.

Your gonna be so proud of yourself.

My kids mom already caught it. I probably did too. The only reason I cared in the first place is that it was supposed to be dire and it turns out its no more dangerous than eating dairy products and red meat.

The virus was here and had killed many well before they called it a pandemic. But if you want to argue the pandemic "started" only when they declared it a pandemic then we actually have two more weeks to go. --MARCH 11th--

Was the cure worse than the disease? Within the people I know, the answer to that is, "yes."

What's the level of deaths u think is low enough to return to normal?
